Thermor BW990 Television/PC Interface
It's crap but Nancy wants one for memories. I'll need to hack it a bit to lose the battery dependency.
In 1976, my cousin and I invented the first digital anemometer/wind direction system. We produced a lot for Edmund Scientific and also sold them directly to FBOs.
In '77, I added speech where a pilot would fly over an unmanned strip and get vocal windspeed and direction info by clicking his mic twice.
We didn't get around to patenting. Heathkit came out with a kit based on our design a year later.
We demonstrated the system to the FCC but they were not interested in private aviation safety at the time.
I still have a demo tape.
Anyway, it's $US 50.00 at woot.com at this time.
