Yup. That unbelievable crap from Obama is amazing.
Paraphrased, I saw and heard it...
Suppose your child get a sore throat. Then she goes back several times to get it treated. Eventually the doc will figure he'll make more money by removing the child's tonsils.
WTF!?
Does your primary care physician do surgery?
No, he refers the patient to a specialist who does - if he suspects surgery is indicated.
This is fear-mongering at its worst.
If gov't employees had to live under the plan/s they propose, they wouldn't propose them.
As a congessman/woman/person, all you need do is show up for one hearing to get total coverage for life. And it ain't from the government.
Is there any country where socialized medicine is satisfactory?
Obama points to Canada as a model.
Hello! The Canadian Medical Association is having a meeting in Saskoon (sp?) where they are expected to recommend a private medical system to replace or augment their system which they believe is in free fall. Canadians who can afford it are coming to the states for care.
Hence, my link to the coops as a possible 3rd way.
