I've been given some DVDs to edit and put clips on a Website. The DVD is not encypted so far as I know.
There are 2 folders; audio_ts (empty) and video_ts (populated).
I ultimately need to edit clips from the DVD with something simple such as Windows Movie Maker 6.
I guess I need a way to save portions (or the whole disc) as .avi's, then stream the completed clips. How to rip to disc?
TIA

have you tried renaming the video files with .mpg extension instead?
That usually makes them playable in a video format

Once you have it as an mpg file you could try a free video/audio file converter tool called super - dont download the latest version though as no-one seems to get it to work and I had to revert back to a previous version which is still available on the net here:- Super - Build 21
When you run it, ignore all the nags about it being out of date - it works fine!
