Jay, I have used DYNDNS for a couple of years and have had to 'touch' it using modify host 2-3 times. A simple, but unelegant way, to touch it regularly would be to use hs.keys.
I also use no-ip, and have found it quicker to connect and I don't recall it having the same 'touch' requirement.

Hey Jeff, I've gotten 'about to expire' monthly emails for several years. I don't trust 'keys' and since I'm away so much, the client is an elegant solution for me. It's been relegated to the 'don't worry about it' pile.
