For the last couple of years we have put up on the outside of our house at Christmas some LED lights.

People have commented how nice they were and that the string of all blue ones was so different.

The front of our house is not far off the pavement.

When I went to bed last night I noticed that our front gate was open so went down to close it.

When I went outside, I noticed that the string of blue lights around the porch had been ripped off the wall and deliberately broken - pulled in two!

What do the people that do this feel they are achieving?

Its a shame they were only low voltage lights for outside use and that the person responsible did not get a shock!

Needless to say, I shall not be bothering to put any up next time.

I have also taken down the remaining sets that were still OK to prevent them being damaged.

What a sad world that someone feels it entertainment to smash up something that brought pleasure to others.

A-Hole kids if you ask me. Someday they will be in your shoes and will say the same things you just did.

It is a shame though.

Its the reason I dont bother putting them up outside my house, whats the point, the countries full of people who dont give a toss about others or others personal effects.

Canada,New Zealand, even France.. UK sux big time now days, glad I dont have long to live.. would hate to be a kid growing up here.
