By ancient tradition, he will arrive here quite stoned on a fire truck at 8PM US east coast standard time tomorrow night.

It compels him to stagger off the truck and throw fruit and candy to the kids.
We throw 6-packs at him.

This of course, gives he and his elves the strength and nourishment they need to move on to the next stop
