Penelope and a friend of ours and I just came back from a very short trip to Amsterdam in Holland.

The ferry operates from the city over the River Humber from us and you go overnight and have a nice cabin to sleep in.

Ski demanded an email, and we did try to send one - unfortunately, I gave Andy the wrong info (derek@skibumsplace.com) and of course it bounced back - oh well I did try!

I will post a nice Christmassy photo on here tomorrow from there for you.....

Well, we had a nice ride around the canals on a boat, bought some puppets for Penelope, had some nice beer and a sandwich and some shopping and booze buying which was fab as I found something I had in Spain sixteen years ago and have not had since!

A nice short trip away to get away from all the problems here......

You are standing next to a great bar, Teasers! It used to be a Hooters but they changed it a little by adding dancing on the bar and tables. They also modified the costumes a little.

Hence the no smile, the wife would not let him go in.
