OK

I just tried Opera for the first time....Is it possible that Media Player active x does not work with Opera? Or is there some settings that I need to make?

Thanks

Embedded videos won't work like Jay's Page and your Ultimate Web Cam stuff, but if the file is a link it will open Media Player.

When I want to view your sight, I have to use IE.

Wow... major problemo...

I also had issues with staying logged in.

Oh well, I thought I would give it a try. Surely NOT gonna pay for something that does not work.

I've been using the free browser for years.

You get so you don't even see the ads on the top after a while.

Avant is good too - it uses the I.E. engine so 100% compatible with I.E.

Indeed!

Mozilla,
I might take a peek at that.
Does it have the mouse shortcuts like Opera?
That's the main reason I like Opera.

I'm not sure about the shortcuts. It's evolving quickly. Just upgraded to 0.9.

I'm using Avant Browser right now and I didn't have to log in because I had logged in a week ago with IE.

It does have the mouse gestures like Opera.

Looks like I will be importing some bookmarks soon.

So far, I like it.

Avant Browser is a resource HOG!
I stopped using it yesterday.

Maybe on a faster machine it would be better.
Don't know for sure.

I generally just use Mozilla these days. It seems to handle some of the stuff I do a little better. Some more technical people I know say that they don't use it because they say it's a little slower but I have noticed a major difference.

I've been playing with MyIE2 (now Maxthon) for a few weeks. Uses IE engine, but seems to render a bit faster. I like the tabbed browser with the ability to group pages. It also has the mouse shortcut stuff. I haven't upgraded to the latest since it changed to Maxthon, but am going to give it a go now and see whats improved. It definately blocks all the popups - even better than google I think.
