I added at the top. "The issue started years ago with the Sony Betamax. In 2005 as then, folks should be able to adapt the format of legally-purchased media to their individual devices and make a backup copy should one of those devices fail. Purchased entertainment media should be treated as any other personal information.".
I was sore tempted to use the Congressional Record as an example of needful entertainment backup but refrained biggrin.gif
