Yes, but isn't the other risk... that a child could be gay?

Now forgive and correct me here but, I seem to recall that some years ago, the gay community verbally attacked a geneticist for proposing that "gayness" had something to do with an alteration of genes passed down by the grandmother. Regardless, I really don't understand their objection to a genetic explanation as they are generally considered outcasts by the general populace. And, no one seems willing to get to the scientific heart of this. The condition is OBVIOUSLY a deviation from the norm (otherwise mankind would die out).
I have gay friends and on the other hand, I have been accosted by gays.

Yup. It's like the gobal warming thing, I suppose.
Can't get a logical genetic-based (or any theortical basis for) gay discussion thread going. Too emotional, I suppose.
