Anyone notice the profound silence without our jokemaster being around?

Oh, sorry. Update. Been on Kiawah Island tracking down contractors who serviced the house, interviewing them, selecting new floors, paint jobs to cover the lady's red walls and blue-green ceilings fetish, tracing whole-house audio speaker runs, figuring out irrigation system zones, landscape lighting, looking at lots with club memberships attached, yada, yada.
Real exciting stuff dry.gif (but it's still paradise, regardless of Rupp's opinion biggrin.gif. Last time I looked at Myrtle beach it was honky-tonk or at least over-developed)
I heard from the landscaper that Southern Living mag (which I subscribe to) wanted to do a feature on the place. The husband was honored and told them to come on down. 15 minutes later, he called them back and reneged (with bitch screaming in background - no one ever sets foot on this property!)
I can attest to that. The poor guy spent big bucks for a lot of things and worked 200 miles away. I continually get calls for permission to install this and that which he had paid for.
Of course I say, "come on down" biggrin.gif

Treetop. where are you?

Re; Mrytle Beach. I don't know why he would like it? I haven't been there in years but from what I infer, it's just another over-developed beach town.

I concur!!! We have always prefered the smaller beaches. That's why my parents bought a place on Oak Island NC. But like any beach, that now is getting a little crowded sad.gif

Sure. Used to have friends in Calabash, I think.
Bro in-law lives in Southport and another friend lived in Oriental.

Sullivan's - I haven't been there. Nearby Isle of Palms is tacky. I'll check Sullivan's out.

Looks good! Sullivan's is near the forts, I see. I occasionally take a boat over to Ft. Sumpter.
I'll visit. Meanwhile, if you wanna check Kiawah out, I'll get you a security gate pass. Let me know.

OK, I see that Sully was the first place that early Charlestonians went to cool off in the summer. Cool (no pun). Very historic. Ain't gonna move but will absolutely visit.
